Lash Lamination

Lash lamination is a salon treatment that lifts and curls your natural lashes from the root and fixes the new shape for several weeks. The specialist softens the lashes with a lifting solution, shapes them on a silicone rod and sets the curl with a fixing lotion. Laminated lashes look longer, fuller and more defined because their full length now shows. You no longer need to curl them every morning.

Lash lamination or lash lift: one treatment, two names

Lash lamination and a lash lift are two names for the same treatment: the lashes are curled from the root and the shape is set for several weeks. In our salons it finishes with a nourishing serum [ПЕРЕВІРИТИ: назва препарату]. Lamination adds nothing to your lashes and only changes the direction they grow in, so the result depends on their natural length. When lashes are too short or sparse for a visible lift, eyelash extensions add the length they lack.

What the lamination serum contains

Lamination for lashes differs from a basic lift in its final step. The serum used in lash lamination contains:

• hyaluronic acid, which holds moisture in the lash;
• keratin, which protects lashes from external factors;
• collagen, which makes lashes stronger;
• a vitamin complex with a soothing effect;
• plant oils, which nourish the lashes and help the other ingredients absorb.

After the treatment, lashes feel soft rather than stiff and keep a natural shine.

Who lash lamination suits

Lash lamination makes the most sense in these situations:

• your lashes are long enough, but they grow straight or point down, so their length hardly shows;
• a curler works for an hour, then your lashes drop again;
• you are taking a break from lash extensions and want a lifted look on your own lashes;
• you swim, train or travel often and don’t want mascara running;
• your lashes are fine or brittle, and you want a treatment that shapes and nourishes them at once.

Lashes that already curl but are light in colour need only eyelash tinting, which darkens them without changing the shape.

Postpone lash lamination if you have an allergy to the products, an eye injury, an untreated infection, conjunctivitis or excessive tearing. During pregnancy, hormonal changes can make the result unpredictable, so discuss it with the specialist first. If your eyes are very sensitive, mention it when you book.

Results and how long they last

You see the result of lash lamination as soon as the specialist removes the rod. The effect lasts 5–6 weeks on average. The curl doesn’t drop all at once. Laminated eyelashes fall out in their natural cycle, and new straight ones grow in their place. A repeat treatment once new lashes show keeps the lash line even.

How long the appointment takes

In our salons, eyelash lamination takes 60 minutes. Lamination with a tint fits into the same hour. If you also want your brows done, brow lamination is a separate 60-minute treatment that sets brow hairs in a chosen direction instead of curling them.
